The mezuzah case is rounded, in a tube shape, and features alternating rings of color which encase the mezuzah, creating the design. A central, thick ring, features an engraved Hebrew letter Shin, with the contrasting color shining through. Shin is the first letter of the word ‘Shaddai’, which stands for ‘Shomer Daltot Israel’, ‘Guardian of Israel’s Doors’, serving as Gd’s protection over our houses.
