Mom: Mom {Zinnia, Zinnia elegans} Dwarf zinnias are easy to grow beautiful plants with multi petaled flowers that bloom in a variety of bold colors. A growing expression of best wishes to Mom. Zinnias have a long blooming season from spring through autumn. To encourage more blossoms, pinch off old blooms. Complete to grow kit in a leak-proof bag.

Thank You: {Zinnia} Grow dwarf zinnias in a windowsill or any sunny spot indoors, year-round, directly in the leak proof bag. Zinnias are easy to grow beautiful plants with multi petaled flowers that bloom in a variety of bold colors. A growing expression of thank you that will remind the recipient of your gratitude. Zinnias have a long blooming season from spring through autumn.

Mint: fresh Mint {Mentha species} in a windowsill or any sunny spot indoors, year-round, directly in the leak-proof bag. A perennial herb bursting with fragrance and flavor enlivening endless dishes and drinks. Growing mint in a container is a perfect way to enjoy the freshly harvested herb and control its tendency to spread in the garden.

Happy Birthday {Viola, Viola cornuta - aka Pansy} Grow fresh violas in a windowsill or any sunny spot indoors, year-round, directly in the leak proof bag and bring thoughtful birthday wishes in the language of flowers. They are hearty plants and easy to grow. Their blooms are edible and can add color to a salad or rice dish.

Sunflower: {Helianthus annuus} Grow mini sunflowers in a windowsill or any sunny spot indoors, year-round, directly in the leak-proof bag. Named after the flower's resemblance to the sun, Helianthus is derived from two Greek words, helio sun and anthos flower. Our mini-sunflower is a French dwarf variety that is easy to grow.

Lavender: {Lavandula angustifolia} The leaves are intensely aromatic right from the start and said to have a relaxing effect. The flowers are edible and can be used raw in salads, added to stews, used to season cookies, ice cream, candied or even brewed in tea. Lavender pairs especially well with dark chocolate.

Basil: {Ocimum basilicum} King of the herbs, basil is a favorite among many cooks for its incredible flavor, which is at its peak when used fresh from the plant. The sweet tasting miniature leaves are ready for use straight off the plant. No chopping or mincing required. For best flavor, add fresh basil at the end of the cooking process.

Chives: {Allium schoenoprasum} A versatile culinary herb used in potatoes, quiche, fish, soups and pancakes. The flowers are also edible and have a mild garlic flavor. Add the herb at the end of the cooking process to insure the most intense flavor. Best used fresh from the plant but can be dry frozen as well, without much loss in taste.

Feathery Dill: {Anethum graveolens} A culinary herb with a fresh flavor of licorice and parsley. Dill makes a delicious accent to fish, eggs, vegetables, cheeses and soups. Chop and add fresh at the end of the cooking process for the best flavor. As you harvest your dill you will encourage more growth.

Good Luck Clover: {Clover, Trifolium pratense} Good Luck wishes to brighten a windowsill or desk. While most plant clusters will have three leaves, you might be lucky enough to find a fourth to add to your luck. An easy to grow beautiful plant that will reach 6-8 inches in height.

Italian Parsley: {Petroselinum crispum} Full-flavored, flat leaved, parsley has a sweet, earthy, celery flavor that is rich in minerals (especially iron). Simply pull the leaves from the stems, chop and sprinkle over dishes from soups to meats. Also, for the cilantro adverse, it's a nice substitute. Add fresh parsley at the end of the cooking process for the freshest flavor.

Strawberry: {Fragaria vesca} These decorative little plants produce delicious aromatic red strawberries, about twice the size of wild berries. They will bear fruit the second year, although in some cases they may bear fruit the first fall. Alpine strawberry plants stay compact and produce few runners, so they make great houseplants when they aren't producing fruit.
